Suaila Lima

Suaila Lima is a talented Cape Verdean dancer known for her dynamic performances that blend traditional and contemporary dance forms. Residing in Praia, she has gained recognition for her ability to fuse Cabo Verdean dance styles, such as coladeira and batuque, with influences from other cultures. Recently, she participated in the international artistic residency 'Resistir Para Existir' in Maputo, Mozambique, where she showcased her skills alongside young creators from various Lusophone countries, contributing to a performance that celebrated liberation stories through dance, music, and theater.
