Sue Carstairs

Dr. Sue Carstairs is the executive and medical director at the Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre, the only accredited hospital for wildlife turtles in Canada. Since 2009, she has been dedicated to rehabilitating injured turtles and educating the public about the importance of turtle conservation. Under her leadership, the centre has expanded its capacity and accepted thousands of turtle intakes each year, striving to protect these vital species from threats such as habitat loss and road mortality.
