Sufyan Daghash

Sufyan Daghash, a 21-year-old soldier from Ma'ar, served in the Combat Engineering Battalion 601 of the 401st Brigade. He fell in battle in northern Gaza on January 2, 2024. Despite being a Druze and writing his war journal in Hebrew, Sufyan documented his experiences from his first entry into Gaza until his last words written on December 16, 2023. He left behind his parents and two sisters, and his funeral drew approximately 10,000 attendees, reflecting the impact he had on those around him.
