Suhas Chakma

Suhas Chakma is the Director of the Rights and Risks Analysis Group (RRAG), an organization focused on human rights issues in South Asia. He has been an outspoken advocate for the protection of marginalized communities, including religious and indigenous groups, and has criticized the Bangladeshi government's handling of human rights violations. Chakma recently came into the news for his remarks on a UN report that highlighted systemic abuses against Hindus and other minorities during political unrest in Bangladesh, where he pointed out the report's failure to identify individual perpetrators responsible for violence and called for accountability.
