Sukamdi

Sukamdi is a professor of Population Geography at the Faculty of Geography, Universitas Gadjah Mada in Yogyakarta. He has extensively studied demographic trends in Indonesia, particularly the implications of an aging population on economic productivity and social welfare. His research indicates that the success of Indonesia’s second demographic bonus is heavily reliant on the outcomes of the first demographic bonus, stressing the need for policies that promote job creation and financial independence among younger generations.
