Sukhdev Mahto

Sukhdev Mahto was a prominent political figure in Nepal who served as the chairperson of the former Atrauli Village Development Committee and was a central member of the Nepal Farmers' Association. He was tragically murdered by Maoist insurgents during the armed conflict in Nepal on April 21, 2002, due to his political affiliations. His legacy continues to be honored, as evidenced by the recent unveiling of his statue, which commemorates his contributions and sacrifices for the community.
