Sun Guiying

Sun Guiying is a resident of Qingxi Village in Hunan, China, who has recently embraced a passion for literature. After transitioning from managing a guesthouse to becoming an administrator at the Chizi Jian Bookstore, she actively participates in community reading events, sharing her own writings, including an essay titled 'The Joy of Catching Shrimp in Qingxi.' Inspired by the works of contemporary Chinese author Chizi Jian, Sun reflects on how literature has connected her to her roots and transformed the cultural landscape of her village.
