Suranga Perera

Dr. Suranga Perera is the president of the Sri Lanka Medical Association and a pediatric specialist who has been actively involved in efforts to assist the Halawatha Hospital after it was severely affected by flooding caused by a recent cyclone. He has been overseeing the assessment of damages and coordinating fundraising efforts from the Sri Lankan medical community abroad to restore the hospital and meet urgent medical needs.
