Surendra Gupta

Recently, he was in the news for leading efforts to certify vegetarian-only restaurants and shops along routes taken by Kanwar Yatra participants, emphasizing the importance of adhering to 'sanatani' traditions during the pilgrimage. Gupta stated that this initiative aims to ensure that Shiva devotees have access to food that aligns with their spiritual values, and he indicated that the certification process would continue even after the Yatra concludes.
