Surya Priyangani Sirimanna

Surya Priyangani Sirimanna is a former senior assistant secretary of the Ministry of Lands in Sri Lanka, recently in the news for being involved in a corruption case related to the illegal registration of a luxury Toyota vehicle that was smuggled into the country. Along with other officials, she was accused of facilitating fraudulent activities that resulted in significant financial losses to the government, totaling over 32 million rupees. Sirimanna and her co-defendants were granted bail by the Colombo Chief Magistrate, with conditions including travel restrictions.
