Susan Kay Quatro
Better known as Suzi Quatro, she is an American singer, songwriter, and bassist who rose to fame in the 1970s with her raw rock sound and leather-clad image. Born in Michigan, Quatro was inspired by Elvis Presley from a young age, which set her on a path to a successful music career. With hits like 'Can the Can' and 'The Wild One,' she sold over 55 million records and became a prominent figure in the glam rock scene. Despite her success, she famously declined an invitation to visit Elvis at Graceland in 1974, stating she wasn't ready to meet him, but eventually visited his home 35 years later for a radio program. Quatro continues to perform and live part-time in England and Germany.
