
Sussan Ihuoma
Sussan Ihuoma is a resilient advocate for disability rights in Nigeria, who lost the use of her legs at the age of three due to polio. Despite facing discrimination and unemployment for 11 years, she has pursued her education vigorously, obtaining multiple degrees, including a B.Sc. in Education and a postgraduate degree in Genetic Counselling. Sussan has worked as a teacher and is currently engaged with the National Youth Service Corps. She passionately speaks out about the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities, including accessibility issues and societal attitudes, while also inspiring others to overcome their limitations.
