Sutami (1918-1994) served as Indonesia's Minister of Public Works from 1965 to 1978, during which he earned the reputation of being the 'poorest minister' due to his unwavering integrity and commitment to honesty. Despite overseeing major infrastructure projects, he refused to engage in corrupt practices, living a life of simplicity and demonstrating that true leadership is defined by service rather than personal gain.
