Svanur G. Bjarnason

Svanur G. Bjarnason is the regional manager of Vegagerðin, the Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration. He plays a pivotal role in the planning and development of road infrastructure in the South Region of Iceland. Recently, he has been involved in the preparations for the expansion of Suðurlandsvegur in Flóinn, where he highlighted the need for improved road safety measures at the Skeiðavegamót junction, which has been identified as hazardous due to its design.
