Sverrir Briem

Sverrir Briem is a prominent figure in Icelandic finance, having previously served as the chairman of the Bankasýslan, the state-owned asset management company, until its dissolution in 2021. He has recently been appointed to two selection committees tasked with assessing the qualifications and independence of candidates for board positions in larger state-owned enterprises.
