Svetlana Baraya

Svetlana Baraya, a 57-year-old resident of Holon originally from Ukraine, was an active and creative individual who enjoyed crafting, including building dolls and making candy flowers. However, her life changed dramatically during the recent conflict when she was severely injured by a car while seeking shelter during an air raid, resulting in multiple broken bones and psychological trauma. Following her injury, Svetlana faced significant challenges, including being dependent on family for daily activities and requiring assistance to find accessible housing.
