Syed Afzarizal Syed Salim

Syed Afzarizal Syed Salim is a prominent member of UMNO (United Malays National Organization) in Tapah, Malaysia. Recently, he was in the news for addressing the installation of banners calling for the release of former Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak, which were incorrectly attributed to UMNO. He denied that the party was responsible for these banners, asserting that they were the work of irresponsible parties aimed at stirring public sentiment against the government ahead of the upcoming Ayer Kuning by-election. In response to this incident, he filed a police report to address the potential defamation against UMNO and Barisan Nasional.
