
Symon Petljura
Symon Petljura was a prominent Ukrainian political leader and military figure who served as the head of the Ukrainian People's Republic from 1919 to 1920. He is remembered for his efforts to establish Ukrainian statehood during the tumult of the Russian Civil War, and he was assassinated in Paris in 1926.
