Ta'Kiya Young

Ta'Kiya Young was a 21-year-old woman who tragically lost her life after being shot by a police officer in a supermarket parking lot in Ohio. She was pregnant at the time of the incident, approximately 25 weeks along, and her unborn daughter also died as a result of the shooting. Young was suspected of shoplifting, which led to the encounter with law enforcement that ended in her death.
