Tahir Hussain Faridi Qawwal

Tahir Hussain Faridi Qawwal, commonly known as Tahir Qawwal, is a Canadian musician and the founder of the Ilahi Sufi Qawwal group, which is notable for being the first all-women qawwali ensemble. He has extensive experience in qawwali music and also leads another group, Fana Fi Allah. With a passion for spiritual music, Tahir plays a crucial role in teaching and guiding the women in his ensemble, helping them navigate the challenges of performing a genre traditionally dominated by male artists.
