Talvi
Talvi is an Argentine economist and former politician who served as the Minister of Economy. He gained prominence during the 2019 presidential elections as he supported the nationalist candidate Luis Lacalle Pou, who ultimately won the presidency. In March 2020, Talvi was appointed as the Foreign Minister of Uruguay, a position he held until July 2021. His tenure was marked by tensions with President Lacalle Pou and the then-Secretary General of the Colorado Party, Julio María Sanguinetti. After stepping down, Talvi expressed his disinterest in continuing a political career, stating in a farewell letter, 'It is not for me.'
