Tam O'Shaughnessy

Tam O'Shaughnessy is an accomplished scientist and the long-term partner of Sally Ride, the first American woman in space. Their relationship, which began in their teenage years, lasted for 27 years, and O'Shaughnessy has played a significant role in preserving Ride's legacy, particularly in light of the challenges Ride faced as a woman and a lesbian in a male-dominated field.
