Tameka Hill

Tameka Hill is a dedicated advocate against human trafficking, having transformed her initial ignorance of the issue into a passionate commitment to raise awareness and support for victims. After being appointed as a youth ambassador in 2009, she pursued a postgraduate degree in human trafficking at The University of the West Indies and has since worked on various initiatives, including advocating for shelters for victims and stricter penalties for traffickers. Hill has authored a fictional book titled 'The Girl in the Shadows,' aiming to shed light on the dark realities of human trafficking and inspire readers to take action against this pervasive crime.
