Tamer Nafar is a Palestinian hip-hop artist known for his powerful lyrics and social commentary, drawing inspiration from iconic American musicians like Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G. Growing up amidst the struggles of his homeland, Nafar uses his music as a platform to express his frustrations about the political situation facing the Palestinian people. During a recent performance at the Festival Músicas do Mundo (FMM) in Portugal, he voiced his disillusionment with the current state of democracy and international indifference, stating that he no longer believes in the power of words, while still passionately delivering his message of resistance.
