Tandja Mamadou

Tandja Mamadou was the President of Niger from 1999 until his ousting in a military coup in 2010. He is primarily recognized for his controversial decision to seek a third term in office, which led to significant political unrest and ultimately a coup that resulted in his arrest and the suspension of the constitution.
