Tanja Maljartschuk
Tanja Maljartschuk is a Ukrainian writer and cultural advocate who gained prominence with her novel 'Blauwal der Erinnerung' in 2016. Originally from Western Ukraine, she has lived in Vienna since 2011 and has become increasingly active in promoting Ukrainian literature and culture, particularly in the wake of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Together with translator Claudia Dathe, she initiated the 'Ukrainian Library' project, which aims to translate and present classic Ukrainian literary works to German-speaking audiences.
