Tanja Nikol Kač

Tanja Nikol Kač, born on October 14, 1981, in Pittsburgh, endured a harrowing experience as a child when she was kidnapped by a school security guard, Tomas Houz, who held her captive for ten years. After escaping and revealing her identity, Tanja has become an advocate for trauma survivors, sharing her story through public speaking and her memoir, 'Memoirs of a Milk Carton Kid.' She has since rebuilt her life, reconciled with her mother, and is married with children.
