After disappearing over 27 years ago, her remains were identified in a New York park, where they were discovered in 1997. Tanya was known by the nickname 'Peaches' due to a tattoo on her chest, and her case remained unsolved until recent DNA testing connected her to her daughter, Tatiana Dykes.
