Tanya Marchenko

Tanya Marchenko is a board member of the Alberta branch of the Ukrainian Museum of Canada. She participated in the celebrations of Ukraine's Independence Day in Edmonton, feeling a mix of solemnity and upliftment upon learning that Prime Minister Mark Carney was commemorating the day in Kyiv alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
