Tarek Abdel Jawad

Tarek Abdel Jawad is the head of the General Authority for Roads and Bridges in Egypt. He has recently been in the news for overseeing the construction and operational preparations of the first line of the new electric high-speed train, which spans from Ain Sokhna to Alamein and Matrouh. Under his leadership, significant earth-moving operations have been completed, including the excavation of 95 million cubic meters and the filling of 86 million cubic meters of earth. Abdel Jawad emphasized the challenges faced by Egyptian companies in executing this ambitious infrastructure project while adhering to international standards.
