Tatjana Pišković

Dr. Tatjana Pišković is an associate professor at the Department of Croatian Standard Language at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. She specializes in gender linguistics and has contributed significantly to the field with her academic work, including the scientific monograph 'Introduction to Lexical Semantics of the Croatian Language,' for which she received the Annual Award from the Faculty last year. In 2011, she was honored with the Annual Award from the Croatian Linguistic Society for her work 'Grammar of Gender.' Recently, she has been in the news for advocating the replacement of the term 'stidnica' with 'vulva' in educational materials, highlighting the need for updated terminology that supports gender equality.
