Taulant Xhaka
Taulant Xhaka is a professional footballer from Albania who has spent the majority of his career at FC Basel, joining the club's youth academy in 2003. Known for his tenacity and skill in midfield, he made over 400 appearances for the club, winning six Swiss league titles and four Swiss Cups. He also had a brief loan spell with Grasshoppers. Taulant, the older brother of Granit Xhaka, represented Switzerland at youth levels before opting to play for the Albanian national team, making a notable appearance at UEFA Euro 2016 where he faced his brother in a match. Recently, he announced his decision to retire from professional football at the end of the season.
