Tawk

Tawk is a Lebanese cross-country skier who defied incredible odds after surviving a near-fatal fall six and a half years ago, which left him with severe injuries and doubts about his future in sports. Despite being told he would never fully recover or ski again, Tawk returned to the Olympic stage, competing in the men's 10-kilometer freestyle event at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Tesero. He finished in 107th place out of 113 competitors but expressed immense gratitude for the experience, viewing it as a testament to his resilience and determination. Tawk represents not only his country but also the spirit of perseverance, having overcome significant physical challenges to fulfill his dream of competing at the Olympics once again.
