TCG Anadolu

TCG Anadolu is Turkey's first operational UAV carrier, launched in 2018 and officially commissioned in 2023. This amphibious assault ship is designed to carry and deploy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), specifically the Baykar Bayraktar TB3 and Kızılelma models. With a length of 757 feet and a capacity of 27,436 tons, TCG Anadolu can transport various military vehicles and has capabilities for humanitarian assistance, including a fully equipped hospital onboard. Its introduction marks Turkey as a pioneering nation in the development of UAV carriers.
