Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan

Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) is a militant organization based in Pakistan that has been responsible for numerous attacks against Pakistani security forces and civilians. Formed in 2007, the TTP seeks to establish a strict interpretation of Islamic law in Pakistan and has been involved in a violent insurgency, particularly in the northwestern regions of the country. The group has increased its activities following the Taliban's return to power in Afghanistan in 2021, leading to a resurgence of violence in border areas.
