The Tejas is a single-engine, lightweight, multirole fighter aircraft developed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for the Indian Air Force. It is designed for a variety of missions, including air-to-air combat, air-to-ground attacks, and reconnaissance. The aircraft features advanced avionics, a fly-by-wire control system, and has been a symbol of India's growing capabilities in indigenous defense technology. Unfortunately, the Tejas was recently in the news due to a tragic incident where one of the aircraft crashed during a demonstration flight at the Dubai Air Show, resulting in the loss of the pilot.
