Telésforo Alexander Isaac

Telésforo Alexander Isaac was a prominent Dominican bishop emeritus of the Episcopal Church, known for his deep commitment to spirituality, human rights advocacy, and community service. Born on January 5, 1929, in San Pedro de Macorís, he served as a pastor and leader in various capacities, including as Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Southwest Florida and as Interim Bishop of the Virgin Islands. He founded the Theological Studies Center in Santo Domingo and published over a dozen books on spirituality and pastoral care. Isaac passed away at the age of 96, leaving behind a significant legacy in both religious and educational spheres.
