Teo Ala-Ruona

Teo Ala-Ruona is a Finnish performance artist and architect whose work challenges traditional understandings of the relationship between architecture and the human body. At the Venice Architecture Biennale, he presents a project titled 'Industry Muscle: Five Scores for Architecture,' which interrogates societal pressures on bodies, particularly transgender bodies, and how architectural environments influence perceptions and interactions.
