Teodor Negoiță

Teodor Gheorghe Negoiță is celebrated as the first Romanian to reach the North Pole on April 21, 1995, as part of a scientific expedition organized by Russian researchers. During this challenging expedition, Negoiță and his team traversed extreme Arctic conditions, conducting research on climate and Arctic ice. His achievement marked a significant milestone in Romanian exploration history.
