Saint Teodor Tiron, also known as Saint Theodore the Recruit, is a revered Christian martyr celebrated for his steadfast faith during the Roman Empire's persecution of Christians. He is particularly remembered for his miraculous intervention that saved believers from consuming food that had been defiled by idol worship. His feast day, known as Todorovden, is celebrated on the first Saturday of Great Lent, symbolizing the triumph of faith over adversity.
