Teresa Mavica
Teresa Mavica is an Italian political scientist and former general director of GES-2, a cultural center in Moscow. She moved to Russia in 1989 and became known for her efforts to promote international artists and foster cultural dialogue in the country. However, Mavica resigned from her position in late 2021, and GES-2 has since been criticized for its role in a repressive cultural environment as censorship intensifies in Russia.
