Teresa Pereira

Teresa Pereira is a 27-year-old cybersecurity professional from Marinha Grande, Portugal, who specializes in threat intelligence. A graduate in Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, she co-founded OWASP Leiria earlier this year. Teresa is recognized in the digital realm as 'starmtp' and has been selected as one of only 14 competitors globally for the DEF CON conference in Las Vegas, focusing on social engineering and vishing techniques. This marks her debut at such a significant event, despite having previously spoken at various national and international cybersecurity conferences.
