Teresita Alfaro

Teresita Alfaro is one of the founding members of the Comunidad Monseñor Romero, established in 1999 to honor the legacy of the Salvadoran martyr, Archbishop Óscar Romero. Under her leadership, the community has transformed the crypt of the Cathedral into a vibrant center of faith and remembrance, engaging in weekly Eucharistic celebrations and social justice initiatives that reflect Romero's teachings. Her commitment to preserving Romero's message of hope and dignity has inspired generations of worshippers and advocates for the marginalized in El Salvador.
