Tereska is a six-year-old orphan girl who captured the world's attention through a poignant photograph taken by David Seymour (Chim) in 1948, where she expressed her haunting memories of home on a blackboard. Her image has become a symbol of the resilience of children who have survived war and is featured in the ongoing exhibit 'Children of Europe' at the Image Centre in Toronto.
