Terrence Ivan Elliott

Terrence Ivan Elliott, known as Ivan, was an Australian-born tramper who grew up in New Zealand and later lived in Ireland. He was an avid hiker who, during a holiday in New Zealand with his wife, tragically died in January 2023 after falling in a challenging area of the Tararua Forest Park. The coroner determined he succumbed to injuries sustained from the fall, which occurred while he was hiking alone after his wife had to rest due to a damaged boot.
