Terrence Poole was a dedicated boxing coach and administrator in Guyana, known for his over 40 years of service to the sport. He made significant contributions as the Technical Director of the Guyana Boxing Association (GBA) and became the country's first International Boxing Association (AIBA) Three-Star Coach in 2014, achieving the highest level of certification for amateur coaches. Poole passed away on October 2, 2022, after experiencing health issues, and in honor of his legacy, the GBA named the annual National Open and Intermediate Championships after him, underscoring his impact on the sport in Guyana.
