Teuku Kemal Fasya

Teuku Kemal Fasya is an anthropologist and a lecturer at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at Malikussaleh University in Indonesia. He has been active in discussing social issues related to Aceh, especially concerning local governance and community rights. Recently, he commented on the decision made by President Prabowo to classify four disputed islands as part of Aceh's administrative territory, expressing that while the local community welcomed the decision, the approach taken by the government lacked a focus on participatory democracy.
