Thaddeus Ruwa’ichi

Thaddeus Ruwa’ichi is the current Archbishop of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and has been a significant figure in the Catholic Church's leadership within the region. Appointed as Archbishop in 2020, he has focused on pastoral care and community engagement, continuing the legacy of his predecessor, Cardinal Polycarp Pengo. Ruwa’ichi has also been an advocate for social justice and the welfare of the marginalized in Tanzanian society.
