
Thái Xuân
Thái Xuân, born in 1979, is a pioneering figure in Vietnamese sepaktakraw, having won a silver medal at the 1998 Asian Games and a gold medal at the 2000 World Championship. Despite a serious knee injury just months before the 2003 SEA Games, she opted not to undergo surgery in order to compete, which ultimately hindered her performance and led to her retirement at the age of 26.
