Thamara Kalubowila

Dr. Thamara Kalubowila has been appointed as the new chairman of Sri Jayawardenepura Hospital. He is a graduate of the Colombo Medical Faculty, where he received his MBBS degree in 1986. Dr. Kalubowila began his medical career at Panadura Hospital and has held various significant positions in the healthcare sector, including roles as a health medical officer, regional health services director, and maternal and child health medical officer. He has also contributed to the administrative field, serving as the medical administrator at Horana Hospital, and has earned a postgraduate degree in medical administration. His extensive experience in public health and medical administration positions him well for this leadership role at Sri Jayawardenepura Hospital.
